Aeroprakt-26

A-26 - deeply modified basic version of A-20 with two engines (Rotax-582) for safe and confident flying over terrain where emergency landing due to engine failure is extremely undesirable if not possible (sea, mountains, forest, desert, etc.).

Dimensions and design are similar to those of the basic A-20 except that the wing is even more swept back (3 degrees) and slightly redesigned in the area of engine attachment (near the root).

The aeroplane is not only able to continue the flight with one engine inoperative but also can take off with only one engine running. The yaw moment due to asymmetrical thrust can be easily compensated with the increased vertical fin and rudder.
